NORBERT LDS 18 is a low-noise, high-speed grease for plain and rolling bearings. It consists of ester oil, mineral oil and lithium soap. It protects against corrosion and has anti-aging and anti-oxidation properties.
Product Applications
NORBERT LDS 18 is suitable for sliding and rolling bearings, small, miniature and precision bearings, for precision mechanical and optical equipment and for cryogenic applications. It can also be used as an anti-corrosion and anti-wear lubricant for electrical contacts. When applied properly, NORBERT LDS 18 prevents corrosion, improves sliding properties and reduces wear, for example in sliding contacts and potentiometers.
Precautions for use
NORBERT LDS 18 lubricant can be applied by brush, scraper or grease gun. Due to the different composition of elastomeric and plastic materials, compatibility testing is essential prior to series application.
