NORBERT GTE 703 is a special grease based on silicone oil and PTFE.
It is NSF H1 certified and meets the relevant regulations of FDA 21CFR § 178.3570.
NORBERT GTE 703 has been developed for incidental contact with products and packaging materials in the food processing, cosmetic, pharmaceutical or animal feeding industries to improve the reliability of production. In addition to seals, NORBERT GTE 703 can also be used in low load rolling bearings for applications in the beverage industry that require the use of H1 food grade lubricants compatible with EPDM. Very low load applications with C/P ratios greater than 30 and slow speed operation.
NORBERT GTE 703 is resistant to cold water, hot water, sanitizers, cleaning agents and steam. If applied properly, it will not affect the formation of beer foam or the taste of beer.

NORBERT GTE 703 is an EPDM-compatible and FDA-compliant H1 food grade grease for the lubrication of seals in the beverage industry. In addition, it can be used for low load rolling bearings.
Precautions for use
NORBERT GTE 703 can be lubricated with a spatula, grease gun, or directly from the tube. Care needs to be exercised when selecting lubrication techniques for high viscosity lubricants: air should be avoided in the system in which it is used, otherwise high pressures can lead to its oxidation and thus to the product being disintegrated. Therefore, we recommend pumping the product at the lowest possible pressure. This can be done by talking to or consulting with the equipment manufacturer. In general, users should ensure that only new high-pressure pumping lines are used in their lubrication equipment. To be on the alert for line grease leakage, we recommend appropriate protective equipment (e.g. goggles).
NORBERT GTE 703 is neutral to most metals, thermoplastics and elastomers. However, due to the diversity of elastomers and plastics, compatibility should be checked prior to a range of applications.
