The lubricant adsorbs to the surface of the parts, preventing water, air, acids and harmful gases from coming into contact with the parts.
Between the piston and the cylinder, between the main shaft and the shank there is rapid relative sliding, to prevent the parts from wearing too quickly, need to establish an oil film between the two sliding surfaces. There is a sufficient thickness of oil film to separate the relative sliding parts surface, so as to achieve the purpose of reducing wear.
