Pharmaceutical industry

In order to avoid contamination of pharmaceutical products, pharmaceutical companies need to control the risk of lubricant use in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). Norbert Lubricants' lubrication products for the pharmaceutical industry are registered and certified.

Risk control of lubricant contamination is a major concern in GMP guidelines to prevent any unsuitable substances from entering pharmaceutical products. In tablet presses, blister packers, capsule filling equipment, autoclaves or centrifuges, contact between pharmaceutical products and auxiliary substances cannot be completely avoided. Thus, risk control in pharmaceutical production includes all substances used in the manufacturing process - also lubricants in pharmaceutical equipment.

Norbert has developed a wide range of special lubricants for the pharmaceutical industry that meet strict GMP standards and are certified by NSF in the H1 food grade category. Norbert has a production plant for the production of H1-grade lubricants in accordance with the international hygiene standard ISO 21469, and its food-grade lubricants are certified by the NSF.
